Notes on recent events
The UK election, Islamic sectarianism, national populism, Biden, France, the media and other tasty morsels
At some point last night, while I was fast asleep and dreaming about breakfast, this page passed 4000 subscribers and followers. That’s amazing, so I wanted to share a quick message to:
1) say thanks a lot(!)
2) let you know about the Substack ‘notes’ I’ve been writing
3) provide a quick summary of the topics I’ve been addressing in said notes, including links to some of the more interesting/popular ones
4) show you how to find said notes
SUBSTACK NOTES
I write articles and essays on here as and when I can. Like this one, these get sent straight to your email inbox.
I also write regular ‘notes’ on the Substack app. These notes do not get sent to your inbox - they only show up in your Substack ‘feed’. That means that unless you use the Substack app or website quite regularly, you probably don’t see them.
‘Who the hell cares?!’, I hear you cry as one. And you have a point. But as these notes now make up by far the largest percentage of my written output on Substack, and are ‘an absolute treasure trove of world class political commentary and analysis’ (source: me), I thought I’d let you guys know that they exist.
You can find them under the ‘notes’ tab at the top of the newsletter homepage (if you’re struggling, see ‘How to find/read the notes’ below). They get quite a bit of engagement, and people seem to be interested in them, so I’ll keep publishing them.
Why did Big Nige just get elected to parliament, how are the media covering it, and is it true that the West would be ‘absolutely worthless’ if it wasn’t for totally unfettered, out of control mass migration? Browse my notes to find out the answers…
ROUNDUP OF RECENT NOTES
Here’s a screenshot of a note I wrote in June. There are links to many more set out below it.
Here's one looking at the reasons for the rise in national populism.
Here's one on the oft-repeated (yet blatantly idiotic) claim that ‘this country would be NOTHING without immigration’.
Here's one looking at Biden’s lies, and the way they’re papered over by a fawning media.
Here's one about the entirely predictable attempts by the BBC and other outlets to smear Reform voters.
Here's one about the Muslim conquests, and the historical illiteracy of those who claim to oppose ‘colonialism’ but conveniently never, ever seem to discuss them.
Here's one about the curious tendency for ‘moderate’ Palestinian ‘peace activists’ to lead marches on which vast crowds openly call for Jews to be shot.
Here's one about Jews gathering near my house to prevent Islamists and progressive cultists from forcing a cinema to stop showing a documentary about the October 7 pogrom.
Here's one on the hypocrisy of those who claim to be horrified by ‘racism’ while steadfastly avoiding any mention of a dramatic increase in Islamist bigotry, Islamic sectarianism and Muslim antisemitism.
Here's one about the atrocities being carried out against African Christians by jihadist groups, and the total lack of outrage it elicits.
HOW TO FIND/READ THE NOTES
Substack is pretty hard to navigate, but hopefully this handy screenshot will help. The notes tab is next to the ‘home’ tab, click on it and you can scroll back through all the notes I’ve written in recent weeks/months.
If you do feel like supporting my work, why not consider upgrading to a paid subscription? They are a huge help.
Thanks!

Thank you for explaining about Notes - I did not know that!
Thank you for the substack guidance, I am always a bit puzzled by the layout and how to find things, and if I still see posts even if I am not signed up to receive emails so thanks, very helpful! I'll take a deep dive into your notes.
